Roman specializes in structuring complex corporate relationships, in legal support to transactions, and in servicing the company’s key customers. He is very experienced in companies’ legal and regulatory risk management. Roman gained his experience in holding positions in major Russian banks and companies, such as Head of the Banking Operations Support and Tax Consulting Department in the TRUST Banking Group, Head of the Legal Unit and a member of the Credit Committee and Asset Restructuring Committee in MDM BANK, and Head of the Legal and Compliance Units in the international online broker ALPARI Group. For several years he was responsible for business owners’ family office, including issues of asset purchase and sale in various jurisdictions, tax minimization and immigration/change of the status of a Russian tax resident.

He has a long track record of representing his customers in court proceedings over bankruptcies, in corporate conflicts, in disputes over real estate and protection against mala fide takeovers, and in protecting business through criminal law. Ivan’s specialization is commercial disputes, support to M&A and real estate transactions, consulting in the course of investment projects, and developing legal strategies in challenging situations. Ivan graduated from the Law Department of the M. K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University.

Alisa has acquired extensive expertise in advising clients on complex commercial issues. Her experience encompasses negotiations, transaction structuring and management, as well as developing dispute resolution strategies. She supports clients’ M&A projects, investment activities, and venture capital transactions.
Before joining MAYS Partners, Alisa gained experience working for a private bank and a large financial-industrial group. Additionally, she completed internships at leading international law firms, WilmerHale (London) and Allen&Overy (Frankfurt-am-Main).
Alisa graduated from Novosibirsk State University with a degree in international law in 2009 and obtained her LLM degree in international dispute resolution in Queen Mary, University of London. She is fluent in English.

Daria advises clients on M&A projects, including direct investments and venture transactions, as well as on various issues of corporate law and governance, civil, financial, antitrust, and international private law.
Before joining MAYS Partners team, Daria worked in several private investment groups, large commercial banks, as well as in the corporate practice of a Russian consulting firm.
Daria has a bachelor's degree in law with knowledge of foreign languages with a specialization in international law from the International Law Faculty of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, as well as a master's degree in law with a specialization in civil law and private international law from the Russian School of Private Law. Daria is fluent in English.

Anastasia specialises in corporate law and supports private capital practices. She represents Russian and International clients in a full range of matters related to investment and private life: from setting up legal entities and marital agreements to representing them in complex projects.

She graduated with honours from the Russian State University of Justice and studied at the Collège Universitaire français at Moscow State University, majoring in Law. She is fluent in English and French.
